"When the Hills Turn Gold" 9x12" Pinantan Lake Print
When the Hills Turn Gold Pinantan Lake Inspiration:
As autumn reaches its peak in the Thompson Okanagan, Pinantan Lake glows in golden hues, reflecting the crisp brilliance of the season. Nestled along a scenic backcountry road north of Kamloops, this high-country lake is a hidden gem, surrounded by rolling hills that blaze with fiery aspens and sunlit grasses.
A favourite among local fishermen, Pinantan Lake’s pristine waters produce hard-fighting rainbow and Kamloops trout, while the surrounding wilderness is alive with blue grouse and deer. It’s a landscape of movement and stillness—where the thrill of the season’s change meets the calm of a lake untouched by time.
